Simo Häyhä: My Winter War Memories introduces you to all the memories Simo Häyhä shared of his life and war. In his own words. The book is divided into three interconnected parts that contextualize the events and people Häyhä either wrote or spoke of in his memories. His 2017 discovered handwritten War Memoir has been combined and contextualized with his other earliest 1940 war memories to form the first part, his earliest Winter War Memories. In the second part, Life, Myths & Beyond, Simo Häyhä remembers his life and war through the sources of the years following the Winter War. The third part, Kollaa, revisits the war following the warpath of Häyhä's company on one of the most legendary Winter War fronts, led by the company leader of 6/JR 34, Aarne Juutilainen, the Terror of Morocco. The book is based on research in all the original sources regarding Simo Häyhä and Kollaa.
