This book helps students learn English by developing their intercultural skills and fostering an appreciation for both local Indonesian culture and foreign cultures. This book contains teaching materials for English subjects for Junior High School (SMP) level. This teaching material pertains to Phase D of the Merdeka Curriculum and covers six components of the English language, which are listening, speaking, reading, viewing, writing, and presenting. The six language elements are presented by highlighting the local characteristics of Jepara Regency and the character of RA Kartini. The learning exercises in this textbook utilize an integrated collaborative learning, where students are encouraged to work together in order to actively engage in the English learning process and communicate with one another in the classroom. This book will help foster students' holistic reading skills as it focuses on content that is relevant to their specific region, Jepara and Kartini.
