Way out in the middle of the ocean is a tiny island called Nortica where the locals are anything but friendly. Just a few weeks before her sixteenth birthday, Stella Shaw's mother whisks her off to this weird place and tries to force her to be friends with the weird kids next door. A few days later ... everything turns upside down for Stella. First mom disappears, then a strange boy turns up in her living room. On top of all the mystery, the ocean has begun to sing to Stella. Is the song friendly or are the voices trying to lure her to her death?
