Jack Lovell arrives in Live Oaks, Arizona, just after wealthy Zach Young has been shot in the back. The stranger is an immediate suspect. Then it's discovered that he comes from Brown's Hole, a notorious hideout on the outlaw trail, and that his father was killed in a range war with Young.
