Sergeant Mark Gordon is an infantry soldier in the United States Army, but he is no ordinary soldier. When he was sixteen he discovered that he was the Chosen One according to an ancient prophecy-a prophecy foretold by an alien race. Only the Chosen One can recognize these shape-shifting aliens-who call themselves Thunderbirds-for what they are, an ability that one Thunderbird in particular considered a threat to his plans for universal domination.
