あらすじ
Our divided world needs healing and unity and God has called the church to be His means of mercy. Through Jesus' parable of the Good Samaritan, this book offers biblical guidance about who the church should be and how the church should act, as she seeks to answer, "Who is my neighbor?" The author challenges Christian colleges and local churches to recommit to reaching people in all of their diversity. By equipping ministry students and leaders to serve across local and global differences, the church can preach Christ's gospel and demonstrate God's kingdom to a diverse world and fulfill its mission to make disciples, calling people to belief in and obedience to Jesus Christ. Bill Thomas has been helping to unite Christians across racial, cultural, and socio-economic lines for over 35 years, much of that time while serving Kansas City's diverse population. Currently, he teaches at Central Christian College of the Bible, having previously served at St. Louis Christian College. Dr. Thomas holds degrees from Manhattan Christian College, Johnson University, the University of Kansas, and a DMin from Liberty University.
