A historical fiction story of Tom Huston and his family from 1822 to present day. In part one the story chronicles Tom's life in Michigan growing up with the friendship of the Potawatomi Indians to his journey to frontier Colorado. Part two explores the lives of his descendants beginning with Theodore Roosevelt and the Spanish American War to the present day. Many historical facts are presented from Colorado's history. Will our history be discarded? The author hopes not!
