The journey to fulfill God's plan in your life is not always a smooth and easy road. In order to be like Christ, we actually have to follow in His footsteps. That includes challenges, trials, tribulations, and suffering. That is the part most Christians want to avoid, but it is what makes us closest to being like Him. The Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Philippi, "That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;" Philippians 3:10 The Second Mile: Following God's Path to Greatness helps us examine the narrow path that we must walk in order to bring glory to God and be a powerful witness for Christ to the world around us.
