'Huzoor' is the story of Gulaal, a young girl enraptured by the melodious and melancholic song of a beautiful bird, her Bulbul. In her search for her beloved bird, she comes across Huzoor - her guide, who takes her on an inward spiritual journey as she unknowingly sets out to seek ultimate Truth. In her quest to cage her beautiful bird, she soon learns that the master is enslaved by the slave, just as the slave is caged by the master. Neither the prisoner nor the jailer, neither the captive nor the captor, neither the fish nor the fisherman, neither the diamond nor the jeweller, neither the beloved nor the lover are separate from each other. As Huzoor unveils the Truth, what remains is perfect unity with the three elements that constitute universal Reality - a Reality "in which distinction is drowned, and only Oneness remains".
