Islam, worship, and menstruation, what's the link? Mama can't pray, is about the time of the month (menstruation) when women can't perform the 5 daily ritual prayers (Salah in Islam). A book for all mother's looking for a simple and beautiful way to explain to their young children why sometimes they can't perform Salah. A book inspired by my own son and one that every Muslim mother and child can turn to when the time comes. Salah is one of the most important aspects of our Muslim life and Islamic worship, children grow up seeing us pray and oftentimes joining us from an early age. My son was just 2.5 years old when he asked me to join him and his father for Salah, thankfully I had this little book to read to him. This book is a fun and easy way to not only explain to your child why as women we can't pray sometimes, but also show Allah's s.w.t love and mercy for us. Emphasising on the fact that Allah s.w.t has blessed us with multiple ways to worship Him. About the Author: Maria De Claudia Campos is a Cuban-American Muslim writer & herbalist. She migrated to the United States at the age of 6, escaping the Cuban dictatorship and converted to Islam at the age of 18.
