Mr. Manoj Kumar Jha is not a writer, thinker, philosopher or an education tycoon. He is an ordinary teacher who makes a difference with his ordinary teachings. The raw experiences of a conscious, child friendly teacher is at the base of this book, 'Ummeed'. It is a product of his active teaching and proximity with young children for more than three decades. He has penned down the analysis and reasons of success and failure among students he came across over the years. Mr. Jha strongly believes that every child is unique, precious and peerless in itself. We as teachers need to harness their qualities. Acquisition and preservation of these innate qualities make a person great and the society greater.
