Donna Cressy has no way of knowing that the goodbye kisses she receives from her children when ex-husband Victor picks them up for a day's outing are for all time. For Victor does not return. Instead, this handsome, twisted man, who destroyed their marriage and almost destroyed Donna's sanity, vanishes with her little boy and girl, leaving only taunting phone messages behind.
