Mister Hooter, aka the "talking owl" and Mister Homer, farm owner and Mister Hooter's mentor, are puzzled and frustrated by events at the farm. Things are happening and things are missing with no easy clues. Mister Homer calls on his best detective, Mister Hooter, to solve the mystery. Of course Mister Hooter, aka, Fineas Theodore Hooter, is up to the task (as usual). But I don't want to provide too many details now and spoil the surprises included in the story.
