This book is deeply personal to me. My mission in sharing my story is to unlock the power that lies in all of us - the power to persevere through adversity. My hope is that by sharing my story, I can help raise awareness of sexual abuse, toxic relationships, and domestic violence. There was a time when I thought my story would always be defined by the people who tried to destroy me-by the hands that hurt me, by the betrayal of those I trusted, by the broken pieces I never thought I could put back together. But that's not the end of my story. You are not alone. You are not to blame. You are not defined by what happened to you. Too many suffer in silence and are not healed enough to come forward. No one should suffer let alone in silence. I refuse to be defined by my past. I am no longer a victim. I am a survivor!
