In Torn Apart, Joe is on his way home to his wife and family when an accident puts him in a comma. He wakes to a world he recognizes but is empty of people. He begins his quest to reunite with his wife and children. Ashley is left pleading with Joe to wake up and keeping their businesses afloat, while her parents are pressuring her to end the marriage to a man they have never approved of, go so far as to try to gain custody of her two children.
