This is such the case in this story. On May 24th, 2022, 19 elementary age students and two educators lost their lives at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX and this story acts as a reflection of a parent who survived that day but experienced so much loss that emotionally and mentally, they do not feel like they are surviving. This is a story that shows us just how strong the bond between a parent and their child is and how that bond can never be broken. When dealing with loss and grief sometimes the simplest things like just breathing become a daunting daily task. With every tragic experience That evolves into a story the goal at the end is hope. Hope that the community that experienced these tragic events will be able to come together and support each other in a way that lets everyone know they are not alone. *This piece may be performed by any performer.
