It's Thanksgiving Day at his mother's and "Street Dog" Atkinson has his whole life ahead of him -- or what's left of it, having been recently released from prison. His plan to keep "clean" and out of trouble crumbles around him when he wakes up in an alley, stumbling over his best friend's lifeless body as a crowd forms and sirens rapidly approach.
