Whiskey Run Lodge, in the vast wilds of Alaska, has been the home of Logan Grey since his late teens--when a tragedy forced him to seek the refuge and protection of that isolated place. He is looking forward to picking up his latest hire, a man named H. Thomas Butler. Hayden Thomas Butler is alone, broke, in desperate need of a job, and running for her life. She arrives in Alaska to start a job at a hunting lodge with hopes that her nemesis will not be able to track her into the virtually uninhabited wilds of The Great Alone. When Logan threatens to end her employment, before she has a chance to prove herself, she gives him a view of the strength and courage that has allowed her to survive the unthinkable. As the days grow longer, and the passion heats up between the two of them, the element of danger also rises. They must learn to trust one another in order to survive the threats that they face. In the trusting, they begin to heal the voices from their pasts that still haunt, hurt and keep them alone. Whiskey Run Lodge is the 1st book in the Alaskans Series.
