After a failed engagement and an unsuccessful academic career, Tommy O'Keefe decides that he must take control of his life- by ending it. Planning his last week of earth, Tommy uses his limited resources to drive across the country to see his parents and three siblings for the last time. While visiting his family home and enjoying the company of his estranged family members, Tommy is reluctant to remember a time when his life was happy and full of potential. Distressed by his fond memories of his formative years, he must convince himself to stay true to his plan and bid farewell to his loved ones once and for all.
