They gave the baby only two years to live; a seemingly cruel outcome delivered to a teenage daughter who was struggling to find her own identity. "I feel I have pretty well failed at everything else...but a baby will be something I will not fail at!" All of her hopes and dreams came crashing down with the doctor's words, "Your baby is microcephalic. she is severely handicapped. She will not walk or talk and she will not even recognize you." This was to affect the whole family. It was a profound living faith that brought them through the depths of anguish and despair to finally cling to the one and only Lord God Almighty. He was to teach the family many lessons until at last, they simply depended on Him to bring them through the valley. "And Still Will I trust Him" is a true story of tenacious child-like faith which brings hope and inspiration to all who read this very insightful and heart rending book. God did provide a way for the family to step out of the shadows of sorrow into the light. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
