Rant Review: The Heart of Tsukuyomi (2025) This drama disgusts me, truly one of the most disgusting and insulting shows I've ever seen. From the start, it was clearly advertised as a BL drama full of mystery and romance, but it turned out to be just cheap bait that was ultimately discarded carelessly. Episodes 6–7 = a nightmare. Imagine, Gushan and Yuwei have been through so much together, even in episode 7, Gushan sincerely asks, "Do you love me?" and Yuwei replies, "I love you." The audience was given sweet hope, as if their relationship would finally be acknowledged. But what happened? In the end, Gushan dies tragically, while Yuwei marries her girlfriend. WTF, what's the point of confessing love if you end up betraying her? Worse yet, in episodes 6–7, Yuwei treats Gushan like trash. When her girlfriend arrives, Gushan is pushed around, told to hide like a lowly person, so their relationship won't be discovered. And what makes it even more disgusting is that Yuwei has sex with Gushan in the room next to his girlfriend. That's not romantic, it's cruel. It's manipulative. It just hurts the audience. The ending is insulting. Killing Gushan and then marrying Yuwei to his girlfriend is a huge slap in the face to all the viewers who came because of the promise of BL. It feels like the producers are deliberately playing with our emotions: giving us candy at the beginning, then stabbing us in the back. --- Conclusion: The Heart of Tsukuyomi is not a mystery drama, not a romance drama. It's a betrayal drama, a cheap queerbaiting drama, and a drama that's not worth watching for anyone hoping for a decent love story. BL poster, hetero content. Sweet promotion, poison content. One word: disgusting and justice for Gushan!
