あらすじ
未来の骨董店主・畢志と現代の獣医・蘇北路が手を組み、時を越えて骨董品を探し求める旅に出る。様々な時代の風習や伝統、人生の紆余曲折を経て、二人の慎重な導きと協力により、彼らの冒険が次第に明らかになっていく。その過程で、時空を超越した友情を育み、最終的にはそれぞれの人生を前向きに希望を持って受け入れていく。

"The Company" is a testament, to how much Chinese series, have matured. This is a well crafted sci fi tale of time travel with a historical perspective grounded, unsurprisingly, in China's rich history. Characterisations are excellent with strong chemistry between the likable, cast of characters. What I found particularly interesting, about this series too, is it doesn't necessarily offer up convienient, pre packaged solutions to, at times, uncomfortable, historical truths. There is not always an outcome, that see's a happy ending for all. Downsides are a little predictable. The tendancy for Asian series to throw in a little overly sugary sentimentalism and mild slapstick, is present but thankfully its used sparingly. In summary, a well written, mature series, that both likable and sophisticated enough, to be thought provoking. A reccomended watch, for fans of time travel, sci fi.
