The Paramedic is a well-structured psychological thriller that shifts focus from its misleading title to the dark obsession of its main character, Angel. Rather than exploring his profession, the film delves into his manipulative, abusive behavior and descent into madness after becoming paralyzed. Mario Casas delivers a strong, award-winning performance, though some scenes—like unrealistic injections and exaggerated strength—strain logic.
