For a gent who sits silently and motionless atop a rather uncomfortable looking high chair, this fellow looks like he has enjoyed the finer things in life. That might be what the mechanised inspector is here to find out as he arrives at his elevated podium to do some prodding and probing of this entirely naked and seemingly desensitised body. Then he twiddles something that perhaps he might have better left alone. Did he get a response? Well he decides to poke his lens into the innards of his subject and that is when this delicately crafted and vibrantly lit animation comes alive and we get some semblance of an idea as to why this chap is perched contemplating - well it might have been his navel were he be able to see it over his belly! If there is some message contained here, I missed it - but as a piece of art it is reminiscent of the mix of the static and the mechanical that Aardman made their trade mark, and it’s certainly worth five minutes. Maybe have clothes on, though.
