Overview
ロサンゼルス近郊の町ヴェニスで、探偵業を営むスティーブは、大切な友人からギャングのボスのスパイダーに奪われた車を取り戻してほしいという依頼を受ける。銃撃戦の末に車を取り戻したが、スパイダーに愛犬のバディを誘拐されてしまう。彼のアジトに乗り込むスティーブだが、スパイダーからドラッグとバディと共に行方をくらました彼の妻を捜すよう頼まれる。

A patently unfunny comedy, whose audience-gateway character is the most annoying of the bunch. Moderately uplifted by setting, the fact that Bruce Willis wasn't 100% phoning it in for once, John Goodman once again "going through some stuff", and the always endearing Jason Momoa... Who is apparently Mexican for some reason. _Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole._
