Overview
かつて人斬り抜刀斎と呼ばれた伝説の人斬り、緋村剣心。刀を置き、平穏な生活を送る剣心は、ある日、剣心から影の人斬り役を引き継いだ志々雄真実が京都でその名をとどろかせていることを知る。政府が派遣した討伐隊は志々雄を前に成すすべがなく、最後の望みとして剣心に白羽の矢が立つ。志々雄の野心を阻止すべく剣心は京都へ向かう。
