I’m genuinely very happy and proud to see the journey of Krishnakanth. Earlier, he worked as an editor for my short films, and now watching him grow step by step as a filmmaker feels really special. His first short film Asaiyum Anubavamum was a heartfelt drama that showed his ability to handle emotions with sincerity. Now his next directorial 2D has been released, and it’s honestly a wonderful surprise to see how quickly he has come back with another project. Many aspiring filmmakers struggle for a long time just to complete one short film, but Krishnakanth has already delivered another one in such a short span with great pace and dedication. What makes it even more impressive is the complete genre shift from an emotional drama to a thriller. Taking such a risk in the early stage itself shows his confidence and passion for storytelling. Seeing his success genuinely feels like my own victory, and that makes me extremely happy. The performances also add strong value to the film. Actors Yogeshwaran, Sriram, and Jaikumar have all done a good job, contributing well to the tense atmosphere of the story. Especially Yogeshwaran in the lead role brings a lot of intensity to the film. His expressions and screen presence help build the tension required for a thriller, and he manages to keep the audience engaged throughout the narrative. Technically too, Krishnakanth deserves even more appreciation because he has handled multiple responsibilities in the film. He has taken care of both cinematography and editing himself, and managing these departments while directing a film is not an easy task. His visuals support the mood of the thriller, and the editing keeps the narrative tight and engaging. This kind of multitasking clearly shows his dedication, passion, and commitment towards filmmaking. The music composed by Alwin also supports the film very well. His background score adds more tension to the scenes and helps elevate the thriller atmosphere effectively, making several moments feel more engaging and intense. Overall, it’s really inspiring to see Krishnakanth growing as a filmmaker and experimenting with different genres so early in his journey. The film even reminded me a bit of the style of Quentin Tarantino, maybe I’m exaggerating a little, but as a big fan of QT, I genuinely felt that vibe in some moments. I truly wish Krishnakanth more success ahead.
