Directed by Vasan Bala and starring Alia Bhatt, Jigra is an action thriller centered on the bond between a sister and her brother, but it struggles to deliver its emotional and narrative punch. Alia Bhatt gives a decent performance, but even her efforts can’t overcome the film’s underwhelming script.
