**YOU SHALL BELIEVE** Siksa Kubur gave me chills — I was literally trembling and just wanted it to end already. The film barely uses jump scares, but every moment hits hard, unlike most Indonesian horror movies. What really shocked me was the bomb explosion in the opening scene — from that point on, the tension never let go, even though things felt pretty normal before that. The use of “Bengawan Solo” as the soundtrack is absolutely brilliant, and Slamet Rahardjo’s performance was so infuriatingly good it drove me crazy — overall, an outstanding film.
